Sheel Sheel Ya Jamali Sheel

Huda Alalawi

This story board was inspired by a Palestinian music teacher named Ahmed Muin, who is also   the founder of Gaza Birds Singing, a music support group born during displacement and   occupation in Gaza. Ahmed Muin and his students filmed a video of them musically harmonizing   with an militant Israeli drone, while singing lyrics that captures their resilience and suffering of   their struggle in the genocide. After watching the video, I was touched and impacted and I   wanted to capture visual elements using animation that exhibit their struggle, and bring   awareness of the suffering they are in during. In hopes that it brings more people’s attention to   the horrific genocide happening in Palestine in this moment.

Cel Animation

Fajr Juma Moosa
